Eco house - old building facade

Coat-concrete construction with wood wool concrete having a thickness of 25 cm was developed in the 60`s. This allows  good sound absorption and heat storage per weight. However, the thermal insulation was extremely bad, corresponding to the building method at that time.

The entire external walls were faced with 12,5 cm facade insulating wall panels with a non-flammable stone wool core. The light weight double-sided magnesite-bound wooden wool- top coat and facade insulating wall panels were fixed with the help of thermally insulated facade-dowels.

This system combined steam permeability with improvements on sound and fire protection
